Question from Sophie, 5th Grade: Hi Elli! My friend said she didn’t want to be friends any more with me, but I don’t know what I did. What should I do?

Answer from Elli: Hey Sophie, be honest and ask your friend what’s going on. But if she continues being mad or ignoring you give her time and see what happens. And tell her that it means alot to be her friend.

Question from Olivia, 2nd Grade: Dear Elli, my friend is having a birthday party, and she invited all of the girls in second grade but me. What should I do?

Answer from Elli: Hello Olivia. If you didn’t get invited it might have been for a couple of  reasons, She may have only been able to invite a certain amount of people. Or it could mean that she doesn’t think that you're as close a friend as you do. This could be a good time to try to make plans with her and see where it goes.
