Best Educational Game of the Week

by Zach L., 4th Grade

Code Combat is the best educational game because it’s a coding game for kids. It is kind of like a fighting game, but you write a program to tell your character what to do. In the first few levels, you learn basic things like moving left, right, up, and down, and how to program an attack. In the higher levels, you can also learn arrays and how to place fences and fire traps. Before you go into any battle, you choose your character and armor. There are rangers, wizards, and soldiers. You earn new characters with new skills by completing levels. I have learned a lot of Python programming by playing Code Combat. You can learn more about Code Combat at www.codecombat.com. This web-based game is free, and you can also buy advanced levels.I review this game a 5/5.
